I am a child of the American West, a scientist, and an artist. I was raised to value both independence and relationships, to appreciate nature, and to nurture creativity.

I create portraits of warm moments and telling gestures using oil paint, charcoal and chalk. 

My goal is for the viewer to experience wonder. Through interaction with my subjects, I capture the sanctuary of home or pasture.
