I am a child of the American West, a scientist, and an artist. I was raised to value both independence and relationships, to appreciate nature, and to nurture creativity.

I create portraits of warm moments, colorful gestures using oil paint, charcoal and chalk.

My Inspiration

I returned to drawing and painting after my mother passed away from cancer. I had feelings and stories inside that I needed to tell. I found myself driven to express my emptiness. Slowly, my practice evolved to capturing close relationships.
